I’ve been really impressed with these mats, especially for the new Juniper Model Y.
One thing I noticed right away is that the door-sill area on the 2024–2025 Juniper isn’t covered with plastic anymore like the previous Model Y. That means the sides are more exposed, and in Canada’s winter that’s definitely not ideal. These mats solved that problem perfectly—the side coverage is exactly what I needed.”
“A small tip from my own experience: leave the mats out for around 10 hours before installing them. Once they fully relax and become flat, follow the video instructions to press them into place. The fit turns out much cleaner and looks way better when you let the mats settle first.
even though it’s 3d scanned, some pieces are a bit shorter than they should be. with some effort, it can snuggle well but not perfectly like shown in the videos. there are always some pieces that leaves a gap or stay lose at the edges. i’ll probably have to buy some velcro to make them stay in place like they should be. and before someone says it’s because we must give it 8-24h nice and quiet off the box before install the kit in the car.. i let each piece nice and quiet out the box for 72h to make sure they were in their best possible shape before trying to install the kit. overall, seems a good product. have been using these for few weeks and they are ok. considering its price range, i must say i was expecting more.
